Short definitions for the terms used in QED pages and checks.
Stock-paired pool
A liquidity pool whose token pair claims one side represents a stock or stock-like asset. The claim is not evidence that the token contract is genuine.
Quote asset
The token side QED reads as the quote in a pool. QED compares its contract and metadata with the issuer registry when the pool makes a stock claim.
Issuer registry
A versioned list of issuer, ticker, chain, and contract records that QED uses as comparison data. Registry membership is a reference, not a guarantee of solvency or custody.
Tokenized stock
A blockchain token marketed as exposure to a stock or stock-linked instrument. Different issuers can use different contracts for the same ticker.
xStocks
An issuer family and registry source for tokenized assets. QED records the contract published by the source and checks the observed pool contract against it.
Robinhood stock token
A stock-linked asset published on Robinhood Chain. The chain and contract address are part of the identity; a ticker by itself is insufficient.
Verdict
QED's result for a check. Verified means the observed contract matches a registry entry. Mismatch means the claim and observed contract disagree. No match means no registry entry was found. Unknown means QED could not complete a reliable read.
Record
A signed QED attestation containing the observed reads, verdict, registry hash, timestamps, signer, and signature. Anyone can fetch the JSON and verify it independently.
